About ACC Country
ACC Country is the area of the country that contains Atlantic Coast Conference teams, primarily in the Carolinas and Virginia. This blog is about all things considered ACC (mostly football, men and women’s basketball and baseball) as well as other pro teams that are in the ACC area, such as the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Bobcats, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Major League Baseball coverage.
Who writes for ACC Country?
Eric is a 21 year college student who is majoring in Physical Education. He is a fan of UNC Athletics. Mike is 25, a displaced Carolinian living in Alabama who was raised on Carolina basketball and is an avid Hurricanes hockey fan.
What is the purpose ACC Country?
The purpose of this blog is to hopefully provide reading content to other sports fans, both locally and nationally. It is also here to provide information regarding the local ACC area sports teams and why, in my opinion, it is the best sporting area in the nation.
How often will you update?
I have tried blogging before, and it has never panned out. However, during ACC Basketball is when you’ll hear the most from me. During the summer months, I’ll most likely post once a week. When football starts up, I’ll try to update more often. Expect Mike to take care of Hurricanes coverage and chime in on Carolina basketball, the Braves, and various other things that he concocts up.
